Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations within the Care at Home Service area. The role supports the director with planning, forecasting, and analysis, serving as a subject matter expert on financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's in finance or accounting with 6+ years of experience; a master's degree in business and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible finance experience with planning, forecasting and analysis.
• Master's degree in business or healthcare is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and evaluate the financial functions and reporting for the assigned service line.
• Supervise preparation and analysis of complex financial reports, statements, scorecards, and budgets; and forecasts.
• Provide financial analysis summaries and recommendations for service line planning.
• Mentor financial staff to ensure operational and financial knowledge.
• Manage information to support forecasts and management decisions.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, decision support and analytics.
• Stay current with industry trends and financial systems to perform essential functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
