Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Finance Business Manager to provide critical financial analysis and reporting to support hospital operations and strategic planning.

Under the Director, Financial Reporting, you will communicate key metrics, lead budgeting efforts, charge master oversight, and drive productivity improvements to sustain safe patient care and optimize resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Business/Finance, Management, Statistics, or similar field.
• Minimum five years of experience in Health Care/Financial Analysis/Reporting.
• Extensive analytical ability to evaluate and interpret data for strategic options.
• Ability to write and present business plans, situation analyses, and feasibility studies.
• Self-directed and able to multi-task to complete projects.
• Perform other related duties to support department needs.

Responsibilities

Summary:

Under the general direction of the Director, Financial Reporting this position will provide communication necessary to inform CCMC Directors on key metrics for financial data, financial analysis, volume data, productivity, and trend analyses. This position serves as the departments primary finance contact for budget preparation, strategic planning, charge master, productivity, and operational efficiencies that will sustain an environment of safe patient care as well as maximizing the value of hospital resources. Working in collaboration with the department, the Finance Business Manager will maintain contact with departmental leadership and operations staff to achieve ongoing familiarity with the department operations and provide feedback to assist business related decision-making.

• Bachelor's Degree required in Business/Finance, Management, Statistics, or similar field. Master's degree in related field preferred.

• Minimum experience of five years in Health Care/Financial Analysis/Reporting required.

• Extensive analytical ability required to evaluate and interpret market, financial, clinical, and other supportive data in order to make sound and objective recommendations for strategic options.

• Ability to formulate, write and present effective business plans, situation analysis documents, and feasibility studies.

• Self-directed and able to multi-task as needed to complete projects.

• Perform other related duties as assigned to support team and organizational needs.
