The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with hospital leadership and external auditors. A CPA/CMA or MBA is preferred, with a minimum five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Healthcare accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and chart of accounts.
• Review reconciliations and journal entries for accuracy.
• Assist with budgeting, audits, and reimbursement reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff.
