Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City offers a Summer Intern Program in Finance for undergraduates. The 8-week internship exposes students to Procure-to-Pay, Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain operations and includes real-world projects and presentations to senior leaders.

Interns work with mentors from the Finance department, tour NYP campuses, and participate in networking events and team-building activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply-Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a related major/program
• Eligible candidates must be a rising senior undergraduate student who graduates in 2028
• Enrollment in a bachelor's program
• Knowledge of computers and various Microsoft office applications
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide statistical analysis

Responsibilities

• Work on strategic projects related to Procure-to-Pay, Strategic Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain in the hospital's PSS Department
• Develop and present key metrics to leadership to measure performance and progress
• Collaborate with hospital departments to translate needs into system and technical solutions
