Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital offers a Summer Intern Program in Finance, based in New York City for 8 weeks starting early June. Interns will gain exposure to hospital financial operations, mentored by Finance leaders, and work on projects at the intersection of finance and patient access.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare management, or related area.
• Eligible candidates must be a rising senior undergraduate student graduating in 2028.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and intermediate PowerPoint required.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Patient Access Excellence Projects for 2027.
• Help optimize Epic dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with Patient Access Managers and other teams on analytics and presentation creation.
• Present project results to Senior Leadership, Project Hosts and Mentors at program end.
