Job summary

Pinnacle Rehab Staffing, LLC seeks a Finance Director to lead financial performance across all three branches of its home health and hospice organization. You will build reporting, controls, and forecasting systems, oversee the accounting team, and partner with ownership on financial results.

You’ll drive budgeting, forecasting, and branch-level P&L analysis, while implementing strong controls and cost-tracking. This role requires GAAP expertise and cross-location collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a senior finance role with direct responsibility for profit and loss and team management.
• Experience building financial systems, reporting, and controls.
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial close across multiple locations or entities.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation, or another reliable way to travel between branches.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Develop branch-level profit and loss reports and analyze margins.
• Build financial controls, approval processes, and cost-tracking systems.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial close.
• Manage cash flow, banking and lender relationships.
• Review vendor agreements, insurance, and contracts.
• Partner with billing and clinical leaders to improve collections, reduce denials, and manage accounts receivable.
• Oversee Medicare cost reporting and financial compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and state requirements.
• Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to ownership.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
