Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, design, construction, renovation, and activation of healthcare facilities across our Michigan network. You will assist with budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and coordination among architects, engineers, contractors, and operational leaders.

The role emphasizes field observations, project coordination, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance throughout project delivery from planning to turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Interior Design or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities planning, or capital project delivery.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility regulations, design standards, and construction processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction, renovation, infrastructure renewal, and activation of healthcare facilities.
• Assist with project planning, coordination, and activation through project closeout and turnover.
• Perform field observations, monitor construction progress, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, documentation, and contract administration.
• Support compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
