Job summary

PACS is seeking an Operations Assistant to help lead the daily operations of a skilled nursing facility under the supervision of the Licensed Administrator. You will support facility leadership, budgeting, policy compliance, and community relations to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality resident care.

The role requires collaboration with clinical leadership, adherence to federal and state regulations, and active participation in quality and performance initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Experience in healthcare operations or SNF settings is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality patient care in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in all facility operations functions per applicable law.
• Develop marketing plans to drive census growth and monitor payor mix.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the facility's programs and activities.
• Help formulate and monitor the facility’s budget and variances.
• Ensure policies, procedures and professional standards are followed.
• Hold direct reports accountable and model PACS Values.
• Engage with PACS Services and community leaders to build relationships.
• Support HR processes and risk management within the facility.
• Lead quality improvement and coordinate surveys/inspections.
