Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of college or related coursework preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, facilities, maintenance, plant operations, or a similarly regulated environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple work orders, schedules, records, and priorities.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and ability to work independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through with records, inspections, and tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Plant Operations with daily departmental operations and administrative tasks.
• Maintain and organize life safety documentation and records for regulatory needs.
• Coordinate and document Environment of Care (EOC) rounding activities and follow-up actions.
• Track, organize, and maintain departmental compliance records and reports.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors, aiding scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain vendor files, contracts, and service records.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
• Support work order tracking and departmental recordkeeping.
• Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate departmental projects.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
• Support department readiness for inspections, audits, and surveys.
