Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a maintenance engineer to provide essential engineering and mechanical system support. Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in trade work such as electricity, plumbing, heating/ventilation/air conditioning.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• Universal Refrigeration Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive Children’s vehicles as needed.
• Perform planned and general maintenance on systems and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work done in mechanical rooms.
• Use diagnostic and power tools for equipment maintenance.
• Keep tools and mechanical rooms organized and safe.
• Assist in purchasing parts and materials for maintenance.

Skills

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Knowledge of healthcare facility systems

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work without direct supervision

Valid Georgia driver's license

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
