Job summary

The Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance and preventive tasks across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems while representing Forefront professionally at the client facility.

This hourly full-time role requires flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts, with a pay range of $26-$28 per hour and comprehensive benefits for full-time team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, drawings, and safety instructions.
• Basic computer skills for work order and maintenance tracking systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to recognize work requiring licensed or specialized trades and escalate appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Perform routine repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Assist with inspections, safety checks, and fire/life safety compliance activities.
• Support equipment moves, minor installations, and facility improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed tasks.
• Follow all safety protocols and Forefront standards.
• Interact professionally with client staff and report issues to the Lead or Manager.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
