Job summary

FutureCare Associates, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform preventative maintenance on building systems, medical equipment, and safety gear.

You will document repairs, logs, and temperature checks while ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and FutureCare policies. The role requires at least 2 years experience in maintenance, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility environment is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Polite and courteous demeanor toward residents and staff.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible shift.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides ongoing preventative maintenance for the facility and systems.
• Performs repairs and keeps logs and reports up to date.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal codes.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment in the maintenance shop.
• Records fridge and water temperatures daily as required.
