Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is seeking a Maintenance Manager to direct building maintenance operations across multiple facilities. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in building maintenance, facilities management, engineering operations, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience overseeing maintenance personnel.
• Experience in a hospital, healthcare, or complex institutional environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and evaluate Engineering Building Supervisors and maintenance staff.
• Plan, organize, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, repairs, and capital improvement projects to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with internal engineering staff, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with hospital leadership and stakeholders to meet service expectations and SLAs.
