Job summary

Encompass Onsite is seeking a Full Time Housekeeper in Estero, FL to clean patient rooms, treatment areas, restrooms and offices daily in line with facility policies. You will use cleaning equipment and products to maintain a sanitary environment and assist with waste and laundry tasks as needed.

The role requires basic literacy and strong communication with staff and visitors. Physical mobility and ability to lift up to 45 pounds are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums.
• Maintains facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, commodes, and showers.
• Disposes of trash and waste materials daily.
• Follows safety regulations including OSHA, EPA and health guidelines.
• Damp dusts furniture, light fixtures, and windowsills.
• Empty trash containers daily and mop floors.
• Inspects areas for spills and reports repairs to supervisor.
• Work in damp, dusty and sometimes dirty areas as required.
• Wipes down surfaces and ensures hygiene in patient rooms and common areas.
