Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Concordville is hiring a Floor Technician to maintain floor finishes and ensure a clean, orderly space for patients, visitors, and staff. You will perform floor cleaning, buffing, and routine housekeeping tasks while moving furniture and supplies as needed.

This role supports hospital operations without direct patient care and requires adherence to established schedules.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of floor care experience preferred; on-the-job training available.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining floor finishes to create a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform routine facility housekeeping tasks including floor cleaning, buffing, carpet shampooing, and periodic refinishing.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed within facility departments.
• Clean walls, windows, vents, and dispose of trash and linen; ensure sanitary, organized spaces.
• Adhere to schedules and procedures to uphold high environmental standards.
