Ideal candidates hold an Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license and a Bachelor’s degree, with at least one year in healthcare leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active, unencumbered license as a Nursing Home Administrator in Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of leadership and business management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision.
• Thorough understanding of Ohio state regulations, the survey process, and quality measures.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing Assisted Living facilities.
• Proficiency in financial management and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain all required licensure and certifications, ensuring the facility is always survey-ready.
• Lead and support a diverse team of healthcare professionals, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with department directors to ensure the effective operation of all departments.
• Manage the facility’s financial performance, including budgeting, accounts receivable/payable, and staffing.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the community.
• Respond to resident complaints and grievances, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
• Ensure that resident care programs are implemented to maximize quality of life and care.
