Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the building maintenance staff.
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff; coach, mentor and assess performance.
• Assist with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Identify problems and potential solutions to ensure department efficiency.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining adequate department supplies.
• Oversees safety and quality standards for staff and regulatory compliance.
• May oversee work of contractors or subcontractors.
• Develop policies and procedures for the department.
