Job summary

The Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center, Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee security, environmental services, emergency preparedness, and selected maintenance for a safe healthcare environment.

Leading Security Officers and Environmental Services staff, the Manager partners with Infection Prevention, Quality Improvement, HR, and external agencies to ensure safety and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or above in a related field; healthcare admin or safety focus preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in security, public safety, facilities operations, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security, Environmental Services and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate staffing, payroll review, attendance and overtime management.
• Lead employee training, onboarding, coaching and evaluations.
• Prepare incident and safety reports; track metrics and inspections.
• Support accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives (AAAHC, OSHA, HRSA).
• Oversee safety, security, and emergency preparedness programs.
