Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a facilities project manager to oversee renovation, construction, and small projects across hospitals, ambulatory centers, and administrative spaces.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, define scope and budgets, and coordinate with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery within patient‑centered care settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, building construction, architecture, interior design, engineering, project management, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams including clinical, support, and administrative stakeholders.
• Strong reading of architectural, civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and interior design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manages the full project lifecycle for renovation, construction, and small projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring financial, regulatory, and facility compliance.
• Works with department leaders to define project scope, requirements, and success criteria; develops charters and high‑level plans.
• Leads planning meetings and aligns project goals with operational needs and Children’s mission and values.
• Coordinates construction activities in active healthcare environments to minimize disruption and supports infection prevention measures.
