Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years paid employment with recognized painting contractor.
• Exposure to situations requiring a working knowledge of skilled contracting crafts.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform maintenance of painted and finished surfaces of buildings, equipment, furniture, and outside areas.
• Prepare all surfaces to be painted and repair cracks/holes as required.
• Work with plaster, sheetrock, concrete, etc., to maintain or refinish surfaces.
• Demonstrate safety precautions and wear protective equipment when handling chemicals.
• Complete related assignments including demolition, general construction and maintenance handy work as needed.
