Albert Einstein Medical Center seeks a Senior Facilities Director to oversee operation and maintenance of hospital/university buildings, systems, and grounds. You will lead the Facilities Services team, ensure compliance with TJC and health department standards, and manage budgets with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; HS/GED required.
• Significant industry experience and specialized certifications considered.
• Experience with union labor forces and collective bargaining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs planning and operation of facilities services in hospital/university buildings.
• Ensures compliance with state/local codes and regulatory agencies (TJC, PA Dept. of Health).
• Manages budgets, schedules and capital projects; improves service levels and client satisfaction.
• Leads readiness for inspections and surveys; liaises with administration and facilities staff.
• Oversees life safety systems, maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Oversees HR issues, staffing, and union negotiations for Facilities Services.
