Job summary

Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to maintain safe, functional healthcare environments across the organization.

You’ll oversee facility maintenance, construction projects, life safety systems, and day-to-day facility needs while coordinating with vendors and staff. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, five+ years in facilities or construction, and strong project management and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five or more years in facilities management or construction.
• Knowledge of or experience with project management.
• Understanding of how facilities impact healthcare delivery.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated flexibility, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to serve as a role model for staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor repairs and maintenance of facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Ensure utilities, environmental systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and life safety systems are compliant.
• Provide updates on maintenance and repair work through completion.
• Perform field maintenance, construction, renovation, and other physical plant projects as needed.
• Maintain service records for rooftop equipment and outsourced services.
• Maintain vehicle service records and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed.
• Assist with facility renovations, construction, and improvement projects.
• Assist with reviewing, prioritizing, and approving work orders based on needs.
• Assist with facility-related expenditures approvals and budgeting.
