Zusammenfassung

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on building and systems, inspect equipment, and repair motors, pumps, plumbing, medical gas outlets and related components. You will read blueprints and CMMS work orders, maintain logs, and mentor junior staff.

You’ll coordinate with other departments and contractors, and respond to emergencies, on day shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Three (3) years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of code requirements, power tools and appropriate building materials.

Aufgaben

• Conducts routine to specialized preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Repairs mechanical equipment and systems including motors, pumps, plumbing, medical gas outlets, blowers and fans.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, maintenance orders, schedules and written instructions.
• Maintains logs and computerized preventive and corrective maintenance files to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assists with emergencies such as the Hurricane Activation Plan.
• Coordinates with other departments, contractors, and staff for department projects and maintenance.
