Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Operations, Construction Management or Business Administration; HS diploma/GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, Joint Commission & CMS standards, OSHA, EPA and state/local codes.
• CHFM certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Experience with building trades (HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Intermediate MS Office experience.
• Experience with CMMS and Building Management Systems.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing a diverse labor force.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of Housekeeping and Maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and safety surveys for compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrates knowledge of standards for housekeeping, plant maintenance and safety.
• Plans monthly training meetings and cross-training activities.
• Submit Annual Training Calendar for EOC employees.
• Implement Housekeeping Unitization program.
• Identify service delivery trends and implement improvements.
• Coordinate ordering, stocking and monitoring of supplies and equipment.
• Negotiate and supervise contracts and vendors.
• Ensure compliance to maintain licensure and operating certification.
