Peabody Health and Rehab in Peabody, KS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of our physical plant, ensuring safety and compliance for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in health care related maintenance and plant operations.
• One year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etc.
• Must have valid driver's license, good driving record.
• Ability to operate Windows 10 computer, read, write, and speak English.
• The ideal candidate will have perform ed the job duties of Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing Facility and have experience using an electronic work order system.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the physical plant.
• Responsible for all functions required to keep physical facility in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Conducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance duties.
• Additionally, responsible for negotiating and contracting with outside vendors.
• Follows established Federal, State, County and City codes and regulations.
