Role and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs, translating them into product requirements, including both technical and business aspects.
2. Define the vision for the product and maintain it throughout the development process using tools like Jira.
3. Create and manage the product roadmap based on this vision, planning and delivering Program Increments (PI).
4. Manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks based on changing requirements, and ensure effective backlog refinement.
5. Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development.
6. Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage.
7. Work with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports, engaging stakeholders as needed.
8. Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
9. Plan and manage releases, including technical and business signoffs.
10. Manage team capacity (Dev & QA) and day-to-day delivery, providing guidance while maintaining business alignment.

Required Experience

• Excellent communication skills.
• Healthcare/PBM domain experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge/experience in Facets Claims processing and job monitoring.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Systems Analyst, with a strong background in application development and project delivery.
• Proficiency with Jira.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $99K to $117K, depending on experience and qualifications. Applicants will be accepted until 6/2/2025. The position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program.
