Pinnacle HealthCare Environmental Services in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an EVS Technician to maintain a safe care environment through cleaning, disinfection, and quality assurance across specialty areas such as Surgical Services and PACU. The role supports patient safety, infection prevention, and patient experience.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of health care environmental services experience, plus compliance with vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year health care environmental services experience.
• COVID vaccination required; flu shot required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of specialty units & equipment (Surgical Services, Endoscopy, Pac U).
• Performs duties with knowledge of health care cleaning principles and safe chemical use.
• Adheres to safety, risk management, and infection control standards.
• Maintains logs and checklists current.
• Cleans and disinfection of equipment and areas per procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning requirements for high sensitivity environments.
• Keeps EVS tools and carts stocked and organized.
• Follows HIPAA privacy requirements.
