Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I to clean and disinfect multiple hospital areas, remove waste, make beds, and transport supplies in occupied and unoccupied patient care spaces.

The role requires adherence to safety and cleaning procedures, basic computer usage, and ability to communicate in English. Healthcare cleaning experience is preferred, with full-time day shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Healthcare and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove non-hazardous waste & recyclables daily.
• Damp wipe, dust, mop, and vacuum surfaces daily.
• Operate ultraviolet light equipment to disinfect touched surfaces daily.
• Make beds, cribs, and stretchers.
• Remove linens and transport to designated locations daily.
• Clean and transport IV pumps, pumps, poles, and related equipment as needed.
• Fill hand soap, sanitizer, lotion, masks, towels, and toilet tissue daily.
• Move and rearrange furniture to access cleaning and improve presentation.
• Enter time and attendance and other information using department systems daily.
