Job summary

Seneca Nation Health System seeks an Environmental Service Technician I to maintain a safe care environment by cleaning and disinfecting patient areas. You will interact with patients, staff, and visitors while following infection control guidelines and quality standards.

Under supervision of Facilities leadership, you will perform a range of cleaning tasks, manage waste, and ensure equipment is maintained. Prior healthcare EVS experience is preferred; a CNACC certificate is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must wear PPE to perform job safely.
• Six months of healthcare environmental services experience preferred.
• CNACC certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service excellence to employees, visitors, and patients.
• Perform cleaning activities in a healthcare environment to meet infection control guidelines.
• Handle soiled linen, regular waste, and medical waste safely.
• Dispose of regular trash and regulated medical waste and stock restroom supplies.
• Report safety issues promptly to supervisor.
• Maintain and clean equipment and restock supplies as needed.
