Job summary

StarCare Specialty Health System in Lubbock, TX is seeking a part-time Environmental Service Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across properties. You will clean, dust, disinfect restrooms and offices, and operate floor maintenance equipment under supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and basic familiarity with cleaning products. This role requires ability to work independently and occasionally assist with inspections and repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Experience in environmental services, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, dusts, and disinfects areas such as restrooms, offices, and other facilities.
• Cleans office furniture, walls, windows, and floors, and empties trash.
• Operates floor maintenance equipment, including buffers, strippers, vacuums, and extractors.
• Restocks custodial supplies and replenishes soap, paper towel, and toilet paper dispensers.
• May assist in inspecting buildings for cleanliness and report needed repairs.
• Assists supervisor or other agency staff with special projects or assignments as needed.
• This position works under close supervision from the Environmental Services Manager.
