Job summary

Cone Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean and disinfect patient areas, treatment rooms, restrooms, and public spaces in accordance with department standards and regulatory requirements.

You will document tasks, monitor supplies, communicate with supervisors, and help maintain equipment and storage areas; prior healthcare customer service is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient areas, treatment areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
• Document cleaning tasks on appropriate forms.
• Communicate with supervisor regarding responsibilities, issues, and supplies.
• Monitor supply levels to balance departmental needs and budgetary goals.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functioning of equipment and storage areas.
• Treat and remove carpet stains as needed.
• Assist in the selection and use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
