Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment across CHC/SEK facilities.

You will perform routine cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and respond to spills, ensuring infection prevention standards are met. The role supports infection prevention and patient/employee safety, with collaboration across clinical and support departments.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping, custodial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, travel is required.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and disinfects assigned areas according to schedules and infection prevention standards.
• Performs routine housekeeping duties: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and restroom sanitation.
• Collects, handles, transports, and disposes of general waste and regulated waste per procedures and safety rules.
• Responds to spills, including potentially infectious materials, using approved procedures and PPE.
• Restocks supplies and monitors inventory for timely replenishment.
• Safely operates housekeeping equipment and uses cleaning chemicals per SDS and CHC/SEK procedures.
• Notes unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to supervisors.

Formação académica

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in housekeeping or environmental services

Healthcare setting experience
