Job summary

Good Samaritan – Bethany is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe environment across patient rooms and common areas in Brainerd, MN. The role requires physical effort, adherence to infection control and safety guidelines, and the ability to handle equipment and cleaning tasks throughout shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of cleaning experience; strong customer service and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, methods and materials is helpful.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident areas and facilities.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms and other areas per guidelines.
• Follow infection control, safety and procedural guidelines; use protective equipment as required.
