Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center Environmental Services team seeks a full-time staff member for a 40-hour work week with occasional weekend rotation. The pay range is $18.85–$28.30 per hour, with benefits eligible.

You'll perform routine cleaning tasks, follow a 7-step cleaning process, maintain floors and carpets, clean fixtures and surfaces, and replenish disposables. On-the-job training is provided and prior related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows a 7-Step cleaning process and the remaking of beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning.
• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows maintenance schedule for floors and carpets.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operating compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes all disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations following completion of job.
