Job summary

Avem Health Partners seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, nursing units, offices and public areas, supporting timely patient readiness and infection prevention.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow safety and hygiene standards, report hazards, assist visitors, and work day, evening or night shifts as assigned, contributing to a respectful, safe hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-year experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
• Reports safety hazards as appropriate.
• Maintains set quality standards when performing job duties.
