Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to lead and supervise department operations across assigned locations. You will evaluate systems, guide staff, and partner with leadership to uphold a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment aligned with regulatory and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of experience in hospitality or housekeeping required.
• Knowledge of healthcare or hospital operations preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates existing systems and processes, initiates change and improvements, and makes suggestions to Manager.
• Leads and supervises the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department in assigned areas covering all patient and non‑patient areas of the assigned square footage.
• Assumes responsibility for promoting consistent, positive patient interactions to meet or exceed HCAHPS goals.
• Supervises the effective operation of assigned Environmental Services activities in the organization to provide an aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environment through coordinating and supervising assigned functions of the department.
• Responsible for assigned staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, department, and safety policies and procedures to meet company and regulatory requirements.
