Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – Davis is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist to ensure a clean, safe environment for patients, families and visitors. You will clean patient areas, waiting rooms, operating suites and offices to high hygiene standards, and consistently follow infection prevention protocols.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Distinguish levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection.
Explain disinfection levels orally or in writing.
Operate power floor machines, carpet cleaners, vacuums, and related equipment.
Use computers and mobile devices effectively.
Communicate openly and respectfully with coworkers.
Ability to work without close supervision.
High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean patient and waiting rooms, operating suites, and offices to high hygiene standards.
Adhere to organizational safety, risk management, and infection control protocols.
