Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support Environmental Services. Part-time role with 11am-4pm weekdays and alternating weekends 7am-3:30pm, subject to interview adjustments.

You will help maintain a safe, sanitary environment for patients, visitors and staff by following cleaning protocols and safety guidelines. Responsibilities include performing duties within your training, using PPE, disposing of medical and biohazard waste, managing supplies, and reporting issues

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and safety instructions.
• Strong multitasking skills to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned within training or qualification.
• Wear PPE and follow safety regulations.
• Dispose of waste, including medical and biohazard waste per guidelines.
• Manage supplies and equipment, keep areas organized and secured.
• Use cleaning chemicals per guidelines and report issues to supervisor.
• Participate in ongoing process improvement within the department.
• Maintain regular attendance and notify supervisor if absent or tardy.
• Adapt to workload changes and report problems to supervision.
• Clean and sanitize assigned patient rooms and areas daily.
• Maintain laundry area and stock per policies and guidelines.
