Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Shift Supervisor to oversee EVS staff, manage shift staffing, and maintain quality standards in patient areas.

The role includes supervising staff, performing inspections, ensuring equipment readiness, and coordinating with Engineering for work orders. Prior EVS/healthcare supervisory experience is preferred; high school diploma required with further education a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of Environmental Services and/or healthcare experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred; equivalent education may be substituted for experience.

Mansioni

• Directly supervises assigned teams, completes performance reviews, and administers corrective action.
• Performs autonomous and administrative inspections on daily and weekly bases.
• Understand Bed Management programs to facilitate timely patient flow.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available and in working order; troubleshoot as needed.
• Check schedules and sign-in sheets to allocate staffing resources.
• Conduct daily shift huddles to communicate problems and changes.
• Attend in-services and training; disseminate information to EVS staff.
• Compile maintenance work orders to report to Engineering daily.
