Healthcare Services Group seeks an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care in a long-term care facility. This 12-week program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you to lead environmental services in healthcare settings.

The role emphasizes compliance, staff development, and effective communication with administrators and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Must have computer skills to maintain records and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
