Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Environmental Services Director to lead housekeeping and laundry operations in a skilled nursing facility. You will supervise staff, coordinate training, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain a clean and safe environment.

The role requires collaboration across facility departments, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to quality and patient care.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree strongly desired; high school diploma/GED accepted with related experience.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in healthcare and personnel supervision desired.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment operation.
• Plans, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions and activities.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense and personnel records.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
