View Behavioral Health LLC in Long Beach, California is seeking an Environmental Services Custodian to join our 79-bed adult inpatient program. The role supports a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment under OSHA standards, with 12-hour shift options.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, waste handling, and supporting infection control. Preferred candidates have healthcare experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and a team-oriented mindset; position

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or hospital setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, or other languages commonly spoken by the patient population
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across disciplines and departments.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, waxes, shampoos, and cleans floor surfaces.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephones, vents and scour, polish and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless surfaces and waste receptacles.
• Empties waste receptacles; cleans solid waste containers.
• Wash windows and walls; may remove draperies, rugs, and other bulky items.
• Moves and arranges furniture as needed for cleaning or presentation purposes.
• Reports defective furniture and equipment needed for repairs to the Supervisor.
• Maintains essential equipment and utility closets in a clean and orderly manner.
• Perform tasks using appropriate infection control techniques.
• Demonstrate understandingand becompliant with Patients' Rights, LPS Statutes, and Seclusion and Restraint Protocols
