SSM Health in Oklahoma City is seeking an Environmental Services worker for night shift. You will clean patient rooms, offices, classrooms, and public areas following proper procedures and safety standards, including handling waste and disinfecting sterile areas.

The role involves floor care, furniture setup, and minor maintenance tasks, with no prior experience required and a High School Diploma or GED. Work location is on site in a hospital setting with a 40-hour work week.

Mansioni

• Cleans patient rooms, offices, classrooms, work areas and public areas as assigned and according to proper processes, procedures, and standards.
• Performs sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, vacuuming, hard surface floor cleaning, stripping, refinishing and carpet cleaning with possible mechanical equipment.
• Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings as assigned.
• Cleans and disinfects sterile procedure rooms such as surgery and delivery areas as required by standards.
• Adheres to safety precautions for handling infectious wastes and hazardous materials and reports events as required.
• Replenishes supplies in assigned areas and patient rooms.
• Transports trash, hazardous waste, soiled linen and recyclables to disposal areas following policies.
• May assist in moving furniture, setting up rooms, and minor equipment maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
