Qualifications

• Knowledge of infection control and safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and handle biohazardous waste according to policy.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic and using standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily, including trash collection and surface sanitization.
• Stocks paper items, cleaning solutions, and supplies in assigned areas.
• Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
• Utilizes Bed Management system for bed flow tracking with handheld devices.
• Documents all work performed and maintains clean, safe work areas.
