Chestnut Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to join our Environmental Services team. You will help maintain a sanitary, welcoming environment for residents, families and staff, supporting infection prevention and safety.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, rooms, baths and common areas, restocking supplies, and following established schedules.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and disinfect to keep areas sanitary.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas.
• Polish furniture, fixtures and surfaces as assigned.
• Empty trash, replace liners and manage waste disposal.
• Restock soap and hygiene supplies and maintain cleanliness schedules.
• Maintain equipment and report hazards promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures and assist with laundry as needed.
• Attend trainings and meetings and protect resident privacy.
