Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States is seeking a CCS Electrical Engineering Co-op to help reduce engineering backlog and gain hands-on experience. You will work on backlog items, assist in creating a manufacturing test set for a control chassis assembly, and communicate progress clearly while learning CCS product techniques.

We welcome students enrolled in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering (Electrical track) with at least four semesters completed and a 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (Electrical track).
• Minimum 4 semesters of core engineering coursework completed.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, pinout tables, connector topologies, and block diagrams.
• Hands-on experience operating DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering backlog items with oversight of CCS Electrical Engineer.
• Prepare a manufacturing test set for a control chassis assembly.
• Communicate progress clearly and concisely; work independently.
• Learn and apply theory, techniques, tools, and processes related to CCS products.
• Support the CCS Electrical Engineer in tasks and responsibilities.
