Job summary

Siemens Healthineers invites a motivated student to join as a CCS Electrical Engineering Co-op, focusing on reducing engineering backlog and gaining hands-on experience with measurement tools and electrical concepts.

You will support the CCS Electrical Engineer, complete backlog items, and learn theories, techniques, and processes relevant to CCS products while developing professional skills in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering (Electrical track) with ≥4 semesters of core engineering coursework.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, pinout tables, connector topologies, and block diagrams.
• Hands-on experience operating digital multimeters (DMMs), oscilloscopes, function generators, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering backlog items under the oversight of the CCS Electrical Engineer, including creating a manufacturing test set for a control chassis assembly.
• Work independently and communicate progress clearly and concisely.
• Learn and apply theory, techniques, tools, and processes related to CCS products.
• Support the CCS Electrical Engineer in tasks and responsibilities.
