Sioux Falls VA Health Care System is seeking an Electrician to install, modify, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment throughout the medical center to support patient care and facility operations.

The role involves reading wiring diagrams, planning layouts, and ensuring safe, compliant operations in a dynamic health care environment. Applicants should meet federal qualification standards and may undergo pre-employment physicals.

Qualificações

• Experience evidenced by training or work showing ability to perform duties.
• Qualifying experience evaluated under the OPM Federal Wage System standards.
• Pre-employment medical evaluation and questions about physical demands may be addressed at evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Install, modify, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in the facility.
• Plan work from wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Identify and correct electrical deficiencies using testing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, and adjustments.
• Adhere to NEC, VA regulations, and OSHA standards; coordinate with contractors.
