Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking an EHS Assistant (Housekeeping) to perform thorough 10-step cleaning of patient rooms, care areas, and public spaces.

You will support a patient-first environment, adhering to hospital standards and safety protocols while maintaining efficiency and teamwork. Responsibilities include cleaning duties across units, coordinating with EHS leadership, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to report for assigned shift on time
• Attention to detail in cleaning
• Strong verbal communication
• Written English proficiency
• Ability to respond rapidly to emergencies

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough 10-step cleaning of assigned areas.
• Interact with patients, visitors and staff with courtesy and focus on satisfaction.
• Assist with bed moves, cleaning of IV poles/pumps, cleaning portable items, stocking supplies.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, spills and stat cleanings.
• Maintain clear communication with team and supervisors.
• Read, write and communicate in English.
