Job summary

The EHS Assistant (Housekeeping) at Frederick Health is a full-time day position (7am–3:30pm) responsible for thorough cleaning of patient rooms, care areas, offices, and public spaces using approved products and procedures.

You will support a patient-focused environment, respond to emergencies, stock supplies, and uphold FHCompliance and safety standards. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of housekeeping or service work, preferably in a healthcare facility.
• Ability to perform a thorough 10-step cleaning process.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Read and follow safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough 10-step cleaning of assigned areas.
• Clean patient rooms, care areas, lounges, restrooms and corridors.
• Assist with bed moves and cleaning of IV poles/pumps.
• Stock supplies and respond to emergencies and special cleanings.
• Maintain cheerful, patient-focused service.
